Chalino Sanchez signed with various record labels, including Discos Linda, Cintas Acuario, and Musart, solidifying his status as the “Rey de Los Corridos” (King of the Corridos). Chalino’s life took a dramatic turn on January 24, 1992, when he survived an attack at Plaza Los Arcos. The incident garnered widespread attention, propelling Chalino to newfound success.

Tragic End

However, on May 16, 1992, Chalino’s life was cut short when unidentified assailants shot and killed him hours after a performance at the Salon Bugambilias in Culiacán.
